A Day Along the Seine: Parisian Wanderings

In Paris, by the Seine, my steps did grace,
Strolling Cours La Reine, a charming embrace
Place De La Concorde, fountains’ watery song,
Obelisk reaching skyward, ancient and strong

Jardin Des Tuileries, a garden in bloom,
Under Pont Neuf’s arch, whispered secrets consume
Cathedral Notre Dame, a glimpse from afar,
Billboards recounting fire, a scar, a memoir

Quai De Montebello, a small park’s delight,
Birds taking flight, in the golden daylight
Next door, Shakespeare and Company’s tale,
History’s whispers in books, a captivating trail

Meeting you at Musee De Orsay’s grand view,
A girl shared her Paris stay, moments to construe
We passed the time, conversations sublime,
Then parted ways, as day gave way to night’s rhyme

Back to Hotel Malar, resting my weary soul,
Memories of a Paris day, each piece a treasured goal.
